If you are interested in presenting your company at the congress, please register through the Czech Society of Cardiology registration on-line system. That is the only way to register a company for the congress. You can hire the area for your presentation stand; your presentation can also take a form of a company symposium, advertising, sponsored group registration or others.
You can register (using the link "Registration – active, passive”) after entering the access codes you chose for the previous congress, which was held this May. The access data are still valid and by entering them you will avoid having to fill in the login form again. If you do not remember the password, ask for it using “Forgotten password”; if you remember neither the password nor the login name but you have already registered, please call 543 213 825, we will be happy to give you the data after verification. When you log in, there is the menu of main activities. Please follow the instructions displayed.
Company registration
Company registration finishes on April 30, 2008; this is also the last day of all passive participation registration (individual, group). We recommend booking the area for a stand as soon as possible as we will start dividing the area at the end of February.
Company symposium
It is possible to order a company symposium until January 14, 2008; it is necessary to enter at least the length of the symposium and its preferred location until this date; the names of chairpersons and titles of presentations (including the names of authors) can be entered until January 31, 2008. Please meet these deadlines.
These times and rooms are reserved for company symposia:
Saturday 24/5/2008 from 13.00 to 18.30
Sunday 25/5/2008 from 16.30 to 20.00
Monday 26/5/2008 from 16.30 to 18.30
Rooms: Rotunda (for about 440 people) – exhibition hall A
Morava (for about 220 people) – exhibition hall A
Praha (for about 350 people) – exhibition hall E
It is necessary to meet the time schedule for presentations of individual companies. When the set limit runs out, the symposium will be closed. When discussing the symposium with the presenters and the chairpersons, please consider the possibility your symposium could collide with another one. The placement of your symposium in the program will be determined by the Program Committee (its chairperson is doc.MUDr. Václav Chaloupka, CSc.) in dependence on the amount of sponsoring activities of the company, the date when the company applied and after the coordination of all participating presenters and chairpersons. The information on the final placement of the symposium will be sent during February 2008.

Exhibition
The expositions will be located in hall A1 of the Brno exhibition grounds as in the past years.
We have arranged one more day for installations with Veletrhy Brno so it will start on Thursday 22/5/2008 and take place from 7.30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and continue on Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 7.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Then the exhibition hall and stands will be tidied up and closed for congress participants (except company representatives) until the end of the Ceremonial Presentation (about 8 p.m.). When the Ceremonial Presentation finishes in Rotunda, there will be a ceremonial opening of expositions together with a banquet on the galleries of A1.
The disassembly will start on Tuesday 27/5/2008 at 1 p.m. (when the congress program finishes) and finish at midnight.
The companies working on the exposition installation will be able to enter freely during the installation work. The free entrance tickets for installing companies will be sent on request.
It is possible to buy a free entrance ticket into the area for the entire time of the congress (500 Czk) or for one day (250 Czk). The order is included in the on-line company registration and the tickets will be collectible at the registration spot or they can be sent by post in advance.
After the acceptance of the company registration (area order), you will obtain ORGANIZATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION, PROCEDURE AND DISASSEMBLY from the organization secretariat. Please, pay proper attention to the instructions. If you want to hire a different company than Veletrhy Brno for the exposition installation, please hand them the instructions.
We would also like to ask you to fill in the QUESTIONNAIRE FOR EXHIBITORS together with your company registration. You can specify the requested appearance, equipment and the size of the stand for the purposes of Veletrhy Brno, which will divide the stands in dependence on the accepted stand orders after the end of company registrations. The questionnaire is in the electronic form and it will be sent directly to the contact person of exposition installations – ing. Tomas Suna (tel: 541152111, e-mail: tsuna@bvv.cz).
We recommend you to print out the questionnaire after you have filled it in for later use. The questionnaire will be available at the webpage during December 2007.
Accompanying cultural and social program
We are offering areas and catering in the facilities of Veletrhy Brno – e.g. after the end of a symposium etc.
CSC Evening Gala – Monday 26/5/2008 – the Voronez Hotel, tickets cost 300 each and they can be ordered through the on-line registration system of CSC until the capacity is exhausted.

And the last but not least piece of information:
THE EXHIBITORS will register FREE OF CHARGE next year – their number depends on the size of the booked exhibition area.
The colour of their name tags will be different from the others as only the exhibitors will be able to enter exhibition hall A1 before the Ceremonial Presentation on May 24.
