Dear colleagues
Let us invite you to the 16th Annual Congress of the Czech Society of Cardiology, which is, as always, going to take place in Brno in May. The congress has a long tradition in the Czech cardiology; it is a meeting of cardiologists which has proved to be very successful even internationally. As a meeting of cardiologists of all specializations it is a unique opportunity to hear about new health care methods and also a place to find new professional but also personal acquaintances.  
Cardiology is still developing; we can even say that it is one of the most progressively developing medical fields. We can be proud that we are able to compete successfully with the world cardiology in many respects.  The scientific and technical progress brings new and new information and it is our obligation to follow these developments and to put the new knowledge in practice as fast as possible. Our annual congress is just the place where the latest contributions to the knowledge on cardiology are presented for a wide professional discussion. We believe many of you will take active or at least passive part in the congress as in past years.

Please accept our invitation and we are sure the congress will live up to your expectations both in scientific and also social respects.
