Dear colleagues,
the Board of the Czech Association for Heart Rhythm, in cooperation with the Slovak Association of Heart Arrhythmias, would like to invite you to the XXth Annual Congress of our associations, which will take place on 5th -7th November 2023 at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Ostrava.
Arrhythmology is a dynamically developing field and much has emerged since our last meeting together. In the field of catheter ablation, electroporation has become the dominant method of treating atrial fibrillation. In the field of device therapy, there is increasing evidence that pacing of the conduction system can benefit many of our patients compared to conventional pacing techniques.
This year's annual symposium will include presentations by international guests, which we have prepared in collaboration with the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), as well as interactive sessions on the interpretation of ECG and intracardiac recordings from implantable devices. As in previous years, we would like to give space in the symposium programme to the younger generation of cardiologists, nurses and technicians in the healthcare sector who are already involved in arrhythmology or are considering working in this field. The congress will also include satellite "hands-on" workshops in which everyone will be able to try out new technologies for themselves.
